Nashville got a decent performance from pitcher Armando Ortíz, but it wasn't enough to beat the Bikini Krill. Bikini won the Les Paul Field contest, 6-0. Ortíz threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Bikini reliever Steve Truss picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Armando Ortíz was saddled with the loss. Bikini now has a record of 30-24 with the win.

Bikini used the hitting of Napoleon Mellott to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Krill on top, 2-0. For the game, Mellott had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Mellott, "and then get after it again."
