Bransington Silences Phoenix Bats
|
Austin Baseball Grounds was the site of a true pitchers' duel.
In a tight contest between the Austin Shredders and the Phoenix Talons, Harry Bransington was the determining factor. The Austin right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. The win gives the Shredders a record of 3-3.
Bransington was in midseason form against the Talons. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits and fanned 10 in his 7-inning effort.
"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Bransington.
