Pedro Jiménez was a vital contributor to the 6-4 Bikini victory over Omaha. The Krill catcher went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. John Hurry, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 1.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Bikini, now 23-32, holds down 6th place in the Frick League Pacific Division.

Iván Quintana came through with a big-time hit for Bikini. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"They had a good approach," Omaha skipper Sylvester Reed said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
