Bikini beat Omaha in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Bikini Krill weathered a fine game by Omaha left fielder Joe Roy to upend the Cyclones, 6-4, at Mordonez Ballpark. Roy was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Their 24-32 record puts the Krill 6th in the Frick League Pacific Division.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Al Schumann? The 20-year old left fielder Schumann stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put Bikini up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 2 doubles and 1 single.

"Nice win for us," said Schumann. "Now we'll go after the next one."
