Blazers Beat New Orleans, 7-6
The Montreal Blazers beat the New Orleans Crawdads, 7-6, in 11 innings, in part because of left fielder Manny Burgus. He went 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Augusto Ayala came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 6-3. Montreal has run its win streak to 5 straight.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Burgus hit a fastball from Carlos Miranda for a solo home run. The Blazers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
