Bikini Krill starter Jon Brown turned in a top-notch performance against the Long Beach Surfers at Forever Field. The result was a win for the Krill, 5-1. The win puts Bikini at 63-60 this season.

Júlio López had a big 2-run home run for the Krill in the bottom of the third inning. With Bikini leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a changeup from Bob Johnson, who is tied for 7th in the FL in quality starts with 14, and punished it. The result was his 10th home run of the season, which put the Krill on top, 3-0.

"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Brown.
