Zombies 6-1 Victors Over Atlantic City

The Jacksonville Zombies picked up a win at The Station @ CSX Field, knocking off the Atlantic City Gamblers, 6-1. On the mound for Jacksonville was right-hander Mahilai Manaalii. He played a key role in the triumph. The win lifted the Jacksonville record to 65-60.
Héctor Piñeiro had a big 2-run double for the Zombies in the bottom of the first inning. With Jacksonville leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Omar Sabir, who is tied for 10th in the JL in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to center. It was his 16th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Zombies ahead, 4-1.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Manaalii told the Jacksonville Today.
