The Brook Park Brownies withstood a fine game by Twin Cities first baseman Raúl Gallehos at Land O' Lakes Ballpark, to upend the River Monsters, 10-7. Gallehos went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The win puts Brook Park at 52-75.

José Vázquez had a big bases-clearing double for the Brownies in the top of the first inning. With Brook Park leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Henry Wemp and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 20th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Brownies ahead, 4-0.

"We got the victory," said Vázquez. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
