Shredders Collect 5-3 Win Versus San Antonio
Pepe Rivera, who is tied for 5th in the JL with a 7.8 K/9 rate, had a strong outing for the Austin Shredders against the San Antonio Outlaws at The Tap Room. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Nelson Middlebrooks collected his 14th save. The win makes Austin 63-65.

Austin used the hitting of Luis Rúbio to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Shredders on top, 2-0. For the game, Rúbio had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We did enough to win," said Rúbio.
