Shredders Walk It Off for 67th Win of Season
The Austin Shredders besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Boise third baseman Bill Kuhn by beating the Spuds, 6-5, at Austin Baseball Grounds. Kuhn was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. The Shredders bumped their record to 67-66 with this latest triumph.

The Shredders got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Ángel Gutiérrez. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Shredders.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Austin manager David Pinto.
