The Bikini Krill picked up a win at The Trail in Multnomah, knocking off the Portland Lumberjacks, 2-1. On the mound for Bikini was right-hander Arturo Meza. He played a key role in the triumph. Enrique Villarreal picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Sameer Abdul-Malik suffered the loss. With the win, the Krill hiked their record to 74-60.
Ramón Sánz had a direct impact on the outcome. Sánz contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Bikini up, 2-1.
Bikini manager Kate Fiscus commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
