Thanks in large part to second baseman Run-ming Gui, the Bikini Krill beat the San Fernando Bears, 7-6. Gui hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Krill move to 68-67 with the win, while the Bears drop to 71-64.

Bikini catcher Pedro Jiménez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 108th hit of the season and put the Krill ahead, 2-0.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Jiménez.
