The San Fernando Bears had to reckon with Chicago Black Sox hurler Adam Hines. Hines, who is tied for 4th in the FL with a 1.09 WHIP, overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-1 Black Sox triumph. The winner was Hines. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Ielemia Faletose. Chicago now sports a record of 32-26.

Omar Robles cracked a home run off Ielemia Faletose in the bottom of the first. His 2-run blast put the Black Sox on top, 2-0. In all, Robles had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
