The Brooklyn Robins and Atlantic City Gamblers obliged fans looking for a good time.

The Brooklyn Robins took Atlantic City pitcher Brian Whitford's best shot and still were able to claim a win at McDermott Park at Ebbets Field. The final score had Brooklyn getting past the Gamblers, 5-4. Whitford went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 8. Cade Miller earned his 28th save in 33 chances.

Brooklyn took a 5-4 lead on Wilson Prieto's 21st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Prieto hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Atlantic City pitcher Tommy Anderson visibly frustrated.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Prieto. "It sure beats the alternative."

Atlantic City has now lost 4 consecutive games.
