Bigalow Slugs Bears to 6-1 Win
The San Fernando Bears used the hitting of center fielder Sonny Bigalow to subdue the Bikini Krill, 6-1. For the game, Bigalow belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Morris Chapa was the winner. He's now 11-5. The loser was 34-year old right-handed pitcher Jon Brown. Ben Weaver converted his 1st save in 2 tries.

San Fernando used a clutch at-bat from Chris Hall to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bears ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
