Mad Popes Suffer 4-1 Road Loss
The San Fernando Bears picked up a win at Chico's Bail Bonds Field, knocking off the Sacramento Mad Popes, 4-1. Starting pitcher Ielemia Faletose played a key role in the triumph. John Dawson closed out the game, earning his 1st save. San Fernando now sits at 65-72, while Sacramento falls to 87-50.

Tommy Harrison took Sacramento hurler Mark Moore deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 3-run home run put the Bears on top, 3-1. In all, Harrison had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I'm happy we won," said Faletose. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
