Hustlers Rally to Win
Juan Núñez did all he could to help his team prevail. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Mexico City Aztecs from losing the game, 6-5, to the Las Vegas Hustlers in 13 innings at Palace Station Ballpark & Casino. Núñez went 3-7 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Las Vegas reliever Ricardo Martínez picked up the win, while Su-chang Ch'on took the loss for Mexico City. The Hustlers raised their record to 73-65.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 13th, two-time Yogi Zimmer Diamond Glove Award winner Roberto Hampton had a chance to be the hero. Mexico City pitcher Su-chang Ch'on wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Hampton hit a sacrifice fly. The Hustlers had themselves a thrilling win.

"This team is real focused right now," said Las Vegas manager Henry Rectenberg.
