|
Bikini beat Valencia at Forever Field, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to left fielder Ramón Sánz. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was former first round draft pick Paul Worboys. He tossed 84 pitches over 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. The save was credited to Winston Morris, his 33rd.
In the first inning, Sánz had a 2-run home run for Bikini. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Krill on top, 2-0.
"We did enough to win," said Sánz.
