Brook Park Sends Des Moines Packing with 7-4 Loss
Brook Park Brownies starter José Martínez found his groove in his team's 7-4 win over the Des Moines Kernels. The loss makes Des Moines 75-64.

Brook Park third baseman Izz al Din bin Riyad contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a cutter to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 40th hit of the season and put the Brownies ahead, 4-0.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," bin Riyad told the Brook Park Herald.
