Cobble Hill Bats Go Silent in 5-0 Loss
The Charm City Jimmies downed the Cobble Hill Robins, 5-0, at McDermott Park at Ebbets Field. Stellar pitching by Ian Tolley had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 9th in the JL in strikeouts with 139, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Jimmies have an impressive 91-50 record.

Lúcio Guevara dealt the Robins a blow in the top of the third. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Charm City leading 1-0, Guevara, who is a four-time All-Star, hit a 0-1 fastball for a 2-run single.

"Ian did a good job of shutting their lineup down," said Charm City manager Jimmy Días.
