Twin Cities registered a win at Land O' Lakes Ballpark by beating the Madison Wolves, 4-3. Pitcher Yoshii Takuda was one reason why the River Monsters triumphed. Alejandro Chávez closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. Twin Cities is 79-62 and Madison, with the loss, 61-80.

Twin Cities went in front, 4-3, on Mathew Malone's 26th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Malone hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Madison pitcher Jugnu Sampath visibly perturbed.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Malone said.
