Bluebirds Rough Up Black Sox, 8-3
|
The Nashville Bluebirds powered past the Chicago Black Sox, 8-3, at Vinnie Vitale Stadium. Brooks Eliot hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice, to lead the charge. The Frick League Heartland Division-leading Bluebirds are 95-46.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Eliot hit a 3-run home run off Tony Radtke. It propelled the Bluebirds into the lead, 3-0.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Eliot.
