Fans watched the Las Vegas Hustlers and the Charlotte Flyers fight to the finish.

Ramón González, who is tied for 9th in the JL in innings pitched with 77.0, was locked in. The right-hander led the Las Vegas Hustlers to a 5-4 win against the Charlotte Flyers at Palace Station Ballpark & Casino. Las Vegas reliever Art Cherry was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-3. Ron Madden took the loss for Charlotte. Alejandro Chávez earned the save for Las Vegas, his 18th of the year.

Had Tadataka Yoshikawa not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Yoshikawa hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Hustlers.

"Feels good to get the job done," Yoshikawa said after the game.

The second-place Hustlers hiked their record to 34-28.
