Aztecs Get Clutch Win Versus Atlantic City
The Mexico City Aztecs handed the Atlantic City Gamblers an extra-inning, 5-4 defeat at The Ballpark at Bally's. Left Fielder Nestor Saatsakis starred for Mexico City. He was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. The win belonged to Sergio Tormes in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Jesús Martínez took the loss for Atlantic City. Jonathan Sobers was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities.

Mexico City used a clutch hit from Wafid Bishr to snatch the win. The first baseman belted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Aztecs ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

In postgame comments, Bishr said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."

The defeat makes Atlantic City 33-29.
