García goes 3-for-4, Leads River Monsters to Win

Led by Héctor García, the Twin Cities River Monsters downed the Yellow Springs Nine, 10-4. García went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the River Monsters. Twin Cities reliever Rubén Flores snagged the win, upping his record to 7-3. Bartolo Bórquez shouldered the loss. Twin Cities is third in the Frick League Heartland Division with a record of 67-75.
Edgar Barrón had a big bases-clearing double for the River Monsters in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Twin Cities leading 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from 31-year old left-handed pitcher Bronson Beaton and swatted a double to right. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the River Monsters ahead, 8-4.
García described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
