Bluebirds Cruise to Cartwright Cup with Sweep Tuesday, October 11th , 2061 Crissy Tingle said he expected the Doubleday Series to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Nashville Bluebirds encountered little resistance in sweeping the Bikini Krill, to advance to the Cartwright Cup. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Tingle. Nashville won the final game by a 10-1 count and were led in the series by Tingle, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .438 with 2 home runs. He also drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Nashville Bluebirds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Portland Lumberjacks - Sacramento Mad Popes series. Portland leads the series 2 games to 1. The Cartwright Cup is scheduled to begin on October 16th , 2061.
