Montáñez Hurls 7-0 Shutout Wednesday, May 10th , 2062 In an outstanding mound performance, Chicago Black Sox starter Salvador Montáñez fired a complete-game shutout against the Yellow Springs Nine at Vinnie Vitale Stadium. Montáñez was the key to the 7-0 Chicago win. The 25-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 6 hits and 1 walk he allowed. "6 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
