Espinoza Bashes 5 Base Hits Saturday, May 20th , 2062 The Louisville Sluggers couldn't stop Gustavo Espinoza, but they stopped the Long Beach Surfers, 12-7. Espinoza went 5-for-5 in the game at Vito Costantino Memorial Stadium, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for Gustavo -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Long Beach manager Mike Ellis. "The Sluggers were on their game today." Gustavo Espinoza hit a two-run home run off Glen Parker in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Glen Parker in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
