Espinoza Bashes 5 Base Hits

The Louisville Sluggers couldn't stop Gustavo Espinoza, but they stopped the Long Beach Surfers, 12-7. Espinoza went 5-for-5 in the game at Vito Costantino Memorial Stadium, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score.
"I feel bad for Gustavo -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Long Beach manager Mike Ellis. "The Sluggers were on their game today."
Gustavo Espinoza hit a two-run home run off Glen Parker in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Glen Parker in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This season, Espinoza is batting .320 with 57 hits, 17 home runs, 31 RBIs, .364 OBP and has scored 30 runs.
