Red-Hot Rookie Rewarded in July Tuesday, August 1st , 2062 George Stickler earned July's Rookie of the Month honors in the Johnson League for last month's performance. The boyish San Antonio right fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Stickler hit .392 with 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and 17 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far on the season, Stickler is hitting .364 with 26 home runs, 84 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 149 hits and played in 109 games. |
