Long, Anderson Swap Clubs Monday, August 28th , 2062 The Charlotte Flyers have released a statement confirming the trade of 20-year old 1B Paul Long, 19-year old RHP Júlio Segura, 17-year old 2B Sandor van der Lee, 22-year old 2B Jim Pollard, and 17-year old CF Menderes Nedim to the Jacksonville Zombies for 32-year old RHP Bob Anderson. The deal was finalized today. At present, Long is batting .316 with 81 hits and 8 home runs. He has knocked in 41 runs and scored 43 times. This year, Anderson has a 10-8 record with a 4.59 ERA. |
