Kernels-Crawdads Deal: Fults for Harrington Monday, August 28th , 2062 Des Moines and New Orleans announced today in a joint press conference that 16-year old 2B Ricky Fults will be going to the Crawdads in exchange for 31-year old RHP Micah Harrington and 28-year old minor league 3B Dwight Pound. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. New Orleans will retain a portion of Harrington's remaining contract. So far this season, Harrington has a 8-14 record with a 4.29 ERA. |
