Stuart Shuts Out Mounties, 4-0 Wednesday, September 6th , 2062 Portland hurler Bernie Stuart put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Vancouver Mounties with a 4-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Vancouver manager Hung-k'uei Cui told reporters after the game.
