You-de Szema Injured, Out for Season Friday, September 8th , 2062 You-de Szema will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Long Beach starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Szema was injured while throwing a pitch in the Surfers-Bears clash at Vito Costantino Memorial Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a fractured elbow and would be out a minimum of 4 months. In 30 starts this year, Szema has posted 10 wins while suffering 14 losses. He has pitched 170 innings, allowed 173 hits, struck out 119 and has a 4.24 ERA. |
