The Math Says - Lumberjacks Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 17th , 2062 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Portland might have envisioned. The Portland Lumberjacks were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in Brewster Baseball Association and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Lumberjacks manager Mons Raider. Before this season, the Lumberjacks last missed the playoffs in 2058. In the 23 years they have been a Brewster Baseball Association franchise, they have missed the playoffs 16 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Lumberjacks have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
