Rocky Mountain Out of Playoff Race Monday, September 18th , 2062 The playoff hopes of the Rocky Mountain Oysters have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2062 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Monty Brewster Memorial Series and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Oysters first baseman Malik bin Mazin. Rocky Mountain last appeared in the postseason in 2059. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 23 times in their 28-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Oysters have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
