Bluebirds Move on to Monty Brewster Memorial Series Wednesday, October 25th , 2062 The Nashville Bluebirds triumphed 6-3 over the Twin Cities River Monsters at Les Paul Field in the Cartwright Cup to capture it 4-2. The victory advanced the Bluebirds to the Monty Brewster Memorial Series. For his superb play in the series, Bluebirds center fielder Carter Cramer garnered the series MVP trophy, hitting .280, scoring 4 runs and batting in 8. "Only thing better than getting MVP for winning in the playoffs would be winning MVP for winning in the Monty Brewster Memorial Series," Cramer said later. "I'll get to work on that." The Nashville Bluebirds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Charlotte Flyers - Charm City Jimmies series. Charlotte leads the series 3 games to 2.
