Cryin' Time: Shaw Retiring Thursday, October 26th , 2062 Greg Shaw announced his retirement today according to sources inside the San Antonio Outlaws organization. Shaw, who is 36 years old, gave reporters some of his plans for the near future. "I'm going to do a lot of hunting and fishing," he said. "I've always been focused on getting ready for the next season, so maybe now I can slow down and enjoy time away from it all." Shaw went back and forth with the press in a friendly manner during his press conference. "I'm sure there's a small-mouth bass out there with my name on it," he said. For his career, Shaw has held opponents to a .266 batting average and put up a 4.27 ERA. He has saved 3 games and owns a 152-142 record. |
