Mad Popes Trade Sato to Sluggers for Pijlswaard Thursday, November 16th , 2062 The Mad Popes have reached a deal with Louisville, sending 29-year old 2B Senzo Sato to the Sluggers in exchange for 18-year old minor league 3B Franky Pijlswaard and 19-year old minor league 1B Paul Cheatham. Reports had been hinting at a deal in recent days, but weren't confirmed until this afternoon. Sacramento will retain a portion of Sato's remaining contract. Lifetime Sato is batting .230 with 112 doubles, 8 triples, 14 home runs and 197 RBIs in 578 games. |
