Spuds Swap Swett to Stars for Turner Friday, December 1st , 2062 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Spuds announced today the acquisition of 38-year old RHP Thomas Turner from the Valencia Stars in exchange for 20-year old minor league LHP Jonathan Swett. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Spuds, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Turner's lifetime won-lost record is 198 wins and 155 losses with a 3.82 ERA. |
