Vancouver, Boise Agree to Deal
Friday, January 26th , 2063
A trade was announced today at a press conference in Vancouver. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Vancouver Mounties general manager shook things up by acquiring 26-year old CF Bob Hills, 20-year old minor league RHP Patrick Klerk, and 20-year old CF Manny Fernández from the Boise Spuds for 27-year old CF Amphibian Johnson.
"We're a better team now," Mounties general manager Aaron Wharram said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle."
Johnson has a career .290 batting average and .328 on-base percentage. He has recorded 1480 hits with 217 doubles, 33 triples, 38 homers, 411 RBIs and scored 663 runs since coming into the league.
