Atlantic City Blanks Cape Fear, 4-0 Sunday, April 29th , 2063 Atlantic City Gamblers starter Brian Whitford really did a number on the Cape Fear Swamp Foxes, shutting them out, 4-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 11 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Cape Fear manager Francisco Catazara. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Whitford."
