JL's Star Player Named Monday, May 14th , 2063 It was announced today that Boise catcher Tadanobu Otani had received the Johnson League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .588 BA (10-for-17), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. This year, Otani is hitting .300, produced 20 RBIs and 4 home runs, scored 13 times and gotten on base at a .361 rate. |
