FL Star of the Week Honored Monday, May 28th , 2063 Few players his age are still in the league, but Angelo Lucchesi of the Chicago Black Sox clearly loves the game and clearly he can still get the job done. Last week the 36-year-old center fielder hit the ball with the consistency of someone ten years younger, which made Lucchesi a popular and well-deserved selection as Frick League Player of the Week. He paced the Black Sox attack by putting up a .550 batting average, 11 hits in 20 at-bats, 7 RBIs and no home runs. Lucchesi also scored 5 runs. Currently Lucchesi is batting .253 with 1 home run and 15 RBIs. |
