FL Names Newcomer of the Month Friday, June 1st , 2063 Vicente Martínez earned May's Rookie of the Month honors in the Frick League for last month's performance. The boyish Hawaii left fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Martínez hit .353 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 21 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. Posting a .315 batting average to date, Martínez has 19 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
