Montreal Trades Elahi for Cape Fear's Johnston Monday, June 11th , 2063 The Montreal Blazers swapped 38-year old RHP Todd Stone and 21-year old 2B Taqi Elahi for 36-year old RHP Liam Johnston of the Swamp Foxes after what Cape Fear officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations. To date, Johnston has a 4-5 mark in 12 starts with a 4.35 ERA. He has given up 66 hits in 68.1 innings, struck out 42 and issued 30 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .259 batting average against him. |
