Talons Send McCoy to Des Moines Monday, June 18th , 2063 After prolonged negotiations Phoenix agreed to ship 34-year old 2B Rich Dares, 24-year old LHP Javier Duarte, and 27-year old 1B Bane McCoy to Des Moines for 29-year old RHP Garth Dobbs and 25-year old RF Júlio Pérez. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." Currently McCoy has 2 home runs and a .177 batting average. To date this year, in 15 starts, Dobbs has crafted a 7-3 mark with a 3.95 ERA. |
