Thursday, June 21st , 2063
Salvador Montáñez of the Chicago Black Sox was the King of the Hill at Vinnie Vitale Stadium.
The Chicago starter dominated the Long Beach Surfers, giving up zero hits in his 7-0 victory.
"The toughest part was the last couple of innings," Montáñez recounted after the game. "You know you have a no-hitter going, and so does everybody in the ballpark. That was the hard part, keeping focused and concentrating while your heart is pounding."

So far this season, Montáñez has logged a 8-6 record with a 4.13 ERA. He has started 15 games, hurled 85 innings and registered 65 strikeouts and 19 walks.
