Martínez Voted June's #1 Newcomer Sunday, July 1st , 2063 Vicente Martínez's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Hawaii first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In June he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .455 with 11 doubles, 2 triples and 14 home runs. Martínez also scored 27 times and drove in 30 runs. Thus far this year, Martínez is batting .361 with 33 home runs, 64 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |
