Shan Guan Says Farewell to Baseball Friday, July 22nd , 2061 Shan Guan of the Surprise Talons announced his retirement from Rupert Horn Memorial League today. The 36-year-old veteran told reporters that he has enjoyed his time playing ball, but that it is time for someone else to have a shot. "It's a young man's game," Guan said, "and I'm not a young man anymore." During his career, Guan has compiled a .254 batting average and collected 202 hits, 4 home runs and 65 RBIs. |
