Tiedtke Hitless, Streak Ends at 21 Monday, April 24th , 2062
The 21-game hitting streak is over.
Pasco Platypus first baseman Hubert Tiedtke failed to get a hit against the Orlando Oranges and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 27-year-old went 0-for-4 in his club's 6-1 victory over the Oranges at The Burrow.
"I think I only made it to 21 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak."
Tiedtke's current batting average stands at .403 and he has chalked up 2 home runs and 8 RBIs.
